Donna M. Bennett | Psychologist | Personal & Professional Development Coach

Donna M. Bennett is a coach, consultant, author, and university instructor. She has frequently been invited to present and write on the subjects of leadership, professional development, career, and work/life balance. Donna's book, When You Lose Your Job, was published in 2002 by Augsburg Press. She has been interviewed and acknowledged for her expertise by a variety of media including the StarTribune, Kare ll TV, Minnesota Public Radio, and WCCO Radio. She co-teaches a semester on the Leadership Journey Program in the Masters of Liberal Studies program at the University of Minnesota.

Donna holds a B.S. degree in Business and Psychology and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Minnesota.

Drawing on her 25 years of experience in leadership roles in corporate, academia, and non-profit organizations, Donna works as a personal and professional development coach in private practice, coaching executives, professionals, and entrepreneurs on leadership, business, career, and personal development issues.

Additionally, Donna holds a part-time position as an organizational effectiveness consultant at the University of Minnesota, working with leaders, emerging leaders, and teams on issues including change, strategic planning, and professional development.

Donna's commitment to the community includes an active membership in the Minnesota Career Development Association, where she resided as Board Trustee from 2002 to 2008, and continues to serve on the Professional Development committee. She served as board member and program chair from 2005 to 2007 for the Association of Career Professionals International.
The Minnesota Career Development Association 2005 “Marty Dockman Merit Award” was awarded to Donna in recognition of the originality, timeliness, and enduring value of her contributions to the field of career development.
